Welcome to Rabbit Ears!
This corner of the Internet is dedicated to the forgotten, the underground, the incredible artistry that time slipped by, only to come back up in a flea market or a curious Discogs listing. I am here to share with you the gold nuggets I find in my digs through the seemingly endless vinyl motherlode, and expand your musical horizons. I hope you enjoy going on this journey with me.
The music
All rips on this blog will be from my own collection. I may reconsider this in the future for guest submissions.
I will be posting the rips on MEGA links in FLAC whenever possible. Unless I explicitly note otherwise, I still have the original media in my collection, and if you'd like a re-rip or would like to attempt it yourself for a particularly challenging one, I can try to arrange mailing out said media.
I try to do as much research as I can before I post anything, but because of how obscure some of these records can be, I sometimes have very little information to work with. If you have any more information on any of my posts, please note it in the comments or contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.
I am not here to infringe on anyone's rights - I just want to share that which has fallen through the sands of time with anyone interested in listening. If you'd like a rip taken down, whether it is because you are the original artist, or you're reissuing some of this material (go hypothetical you!), please send me a note and I will handle it. I can also take the post itself down, but I would rather help promote you or your reissues by removing the download and replacing it with a link to a shop page instead, so we can preserve any research done in the process of writing the post.

If you want to reach me, whether it is to shed a little light on some of the mysteries I've run across, or to take down a rip, contact me at alwayslistening (at) rabbitears.rip, since YouTube no longer does private messages.
Thank you for reading. I hope you find something nice in the grooves the rabbit ears are picking up.
